ASART HT
Dual action of Asart and Bpzide. Asart HT reduces BP by not only blocking angiotensin II receptor but also blood volume and cardiac output. Thus it is used to relieve severe and uncontrolled hypertension.

Indication:
Hypertension whose BP is not controlled by monotherapy.
Drug Composition:
Losartan Potassium 50 mg and Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg Tablets.
Dosage:
O.D. and can be titrated to B.D.
Contraindications:
Hepatic impairement. Anuria, moderate to severe renal impairment, intravascular volume depletion, dialysis.
Sulphonamide or penicillin allergy.
Precautions:
Heart failure. Monitor renal function serum electrolytes. Gout.
