Lama AT
In some patients elevated blood pressure (BP) may remain uncontrolled with a single drug and additional medication may be needed. In such cases doctors may prescribe Lama AT which is a combination of Amlodipine and Atenolol that can be effective in treating cardiac symptoms due to elevated BP.

Indication:
Hypertension not controlled by monotherapy (amlodipine or atenolol alone) and in the treatment of hypertension and angina.
Drug Composition:
5 mg Amlodipine and 50 mg Atenolol per tablet.
Dosage:
O.D.
Contraindications:
Aortic stenosis, unstable angina, metabolic acidosis.
Precautions:
Within 1 month of MI. hypertensive crisis.
Major surgery, avoid abrupt cessation.
Ischemic heart disease or failure.
